Chris and Ronna help provide a dynamic understanding of the spiritual and emotional issues which create conflict. It is through my work with them that I have been able to see and understand the beliefs and emotions which underlie my behaviors. From talk therapy to intensive retreats their work always provides me with a better perspective of my own life. -Tegan

Introduction
It is important to know that Ronna and Christopher's teachings are non-conventional and controversial. We seek balance in all aspects of life. That means we see sadness to be as important as happiness, anger as important as power, fear as important as love, depression as important as bliss. We seek to ground our clients into the reality of being fully human.
Sunday Evening Process Group
We meet most Sunday evenings at our office between 7pm and 9pm. We start with a check-in and then
move on to discussing a topic of interest. The topic may come from issues raised in the check-in or
a predetermined topic set before hand.
Please call before coming so we know how many to expect. The cost is by donation.
Radical Acceptance Experiencial Retreat
The retreat runs from Thursday evening until Sunday afternoon. We begin by building a safe community and then we delve into the steps of Radical Acceptance.
Step 1 is the selection of an event that still holds energy for you. It can be a traumatic event from childhood, a betrayal from adulthood, an ongoing
repeating pattern, or anything else that holds mental and emotional energy in your life.
Step 2 is to express the feelings associated with the event. This may involve expressing anger, grief or fear. The feelings could be more subtle such as annoyance, anxiety or depression. Some events could include feelings of happiness, humour and love. No matter what the feeling, we provide a safe, guided process for getting in touch with and expressing the feeling.
Step 3 involves processing the event and associated feelings. For this step we have prepared a variety of worksheets and tools to assist with processing, not only during the retreat, but later when back in your day-to-day life. During the retreat, this step will be done each person in turn with a facilitator. The worksheets will be secondary to the facilitated work.
Step 4 springs from step 3. It involves accepting the discoveries made during the processing. This may generate a new set of feelings and accommodation is made for that.
Step 5 begins the work of wrapping up the work. This is the time to collect the learnings from the weekend and begin to plan on how to integrate those learnings
into your life. This step may include plans to speak to a person, plans to change the basis of relationship, consideration of employment or schooling changes, or maybe just
plans to change ways of thinking and acting.
Step 6 takes place outside the retreat. This is the step of acting on the plans created in step 5.
The work is guided and safely led by one of the experienced facilitators. We will encourage you to go deep and we ensure your physical and emotional safety.
Learning comes from not only your own work, but also from watching/experiencing other's work.
The retreat is small and personal with a maximum of 8 people. Couples and individuals are welcome. Although the work is primarily individual, couples find
the work helps develop intimacy on a profound new level.
This is an exploration of sexuality and spirituality with NO overt sexual activity.
All work is done clothes on with full respect for privacy. The retreat begins Thursday
evening with work to build safe community. Friday is spent exploring sexual woundings.
This done respectfully and gently, using breath and guided re-enactments to bring about
healing. Saturday, during the day, is an exploration of spiritual woundings. This time
we use a gestalt technique called the hot-seat to dig into belief and explore how a person
hold either conflicting beliefs or beliefs that no longer serve them. It is not an attempt
to convert someone to our belief system. The work focuses on their belief systems and
how those might better serve. Saturday evening we use a technique called holotropic
breathing to combine sexual and spiritual energies into a new unity.
The retreat is small and personal with a maximum of 10 people.
